Maria Oyola

Maria Oyola has been fighting for injured workers since she began working with Joel Fredericson since 2014.  Affectionately known by her colleagues as the “Bulldog,” she is relentless in obtaining medical records and advocating for her clients with difficult adjusters. Maria is bilingual and is the primary contact for the firm’s significant community of Spanish speaking claimants.  She explains and translates all issues of concern while building rapport and trust.   When Schotter, Millican formed, many claimants who had previously worked with Maria requested that she remain their paralegal not only because she’s a fierce fighter, but also because she listens to claimants and addresses their concerns.  Maria loves her job and takes great pleasure in assisting her clients.

Maria is a proud mom and grandma, and when she’s not fighting for workers’ rights, she can be found enjoying time with her family.
